Philippinite Spheres are found in part of the vast area of the Indochinite Strewnfield of tektites. The tektites found across this huge area vary in size, shape and texture. None are more spectacular than the large tektite spheres from the Philippines. Philippinite spheres are often large and shiny and pitted or grooved. However they can also be smooth with only light surface texturing. We have recently acquired a batch of very fine Philippinite spheres and if the past is any indication of interest ones of this quality will not be available long.
