Campo meteorites often display regmaglypts, which are classic meteorite features. Some Campo individuals can display a handsome patina, while others have an attractive gunmetal finish. Campo del Cielo iron meteorites are made up of approximately 93% iron and about 7% nickel. Scientists estimate that these meteorites are about 4.5 billion years old.
