Irghizites

Irghizites are perhaps the most intricately detailed impact glass objects.They are recovered as ribbons and threads, drops and swirls of beautiful pure black glass. The surface of irghizites is often sprinkled with microscopic round droplets of glass. This creates a pimplely texture that is striking. There certainly must have been a mist and rain of tiny glass particles because that boiling moment is preserved in these fascinating and beautiful objects.
