Lunar meteorite NWA 11788 is a Feldspathic Breccia. It was obtained in Mali in 2017. NWA 11788 was found as many paired pieces ranging in size from about 2 kgs down to sub gram pieces. The total amount recovered was 10.4 kilograms. Northwest Africa 11788 has a dark gray matrix with white clasts of feldspar. There is a small amount of vesiculation throughout, an indication of its high level of shock. Some metal grains are seen when it is cut.

We are offering small affordable pieces of this interesting lunar meteorite. The fine fragmental breccia of NWA 11788 and its dark gray colored matrix make NWA 11788 somewhat different from many of the other Lunar Feldspathic Breccias which often consist of larger clasts.
