NWA 16181 Meteorite For Sale
Northwest Africa 16181 was purchased as a single, brown stone from a Moroccan dealer in 2023 by Elizabeth Vieira. It was classified by Dustin Dickens as an ordinary chondrite (LL3). NWA 16181 has a total known mass of 1,412 grams, with the main mass held by Aerolite Meteorites.
The exterior of NWA 16181 meteorites is a smooth, rich, dark brown. Its interior reveals a brown and tan matrix tightly packed with chondrules. Metal flecks and thin veins are also visible. NWA 16181 is lightly weathered.
