NWA 11343 CV3 Meteorite For Sale
Northwest Africa 11343 is a carbonaceous chondrite that was found in Northwest Africa in 2015. A Moroccan dealer sold 53 small whole stones and fragments to a third party who later sold the lot to Geoffrey Notkin of Aerolite Meteorites. NWA 11343 has a relatively low total known weight of 559 grams and is a CV3.
The NWA 11343 meteorites have a dark, sandblasted exterior. When sliced with a saw, the interior of the meteorite reveals chondrules and some small CAIs. NWA 11343 also contains nickel-iron metal, troilite, and oxidized iron.
