NWA 788 Meteorite For Sale
Many pieces of the NWA 788 meteorite were purchased from a dealer in Casablanca, Morocco in 2001. NWA 788 has been classified as an Ordinary Chondrite L5/6. These specimens have an unusual feature, they contain an exotic plagioclase-rich object containing oriented grains of oxide phases.
NWA 788 has a Shock stage: S2 and a Weathering grade: W2. Some specimens show well-formed chondrules occurring within a recrystallized matrix.
