NWA 10256 CR2 Meteorite For Sale
A chondrule rich CR2 with a small total known weight of just 707.3 grams. Six identical appearing full stones with smooth abraded fusion crust were found. When cut the inside showed many distinct chondrules of variable size set in a dark-grey groundmass and many CAIs are visible in several specimens. A rare CR2 is thought to have been heated at higher temperatures as compared to other carbonaceous chondrites (CI/CM) and formed in an aqueous environment.
