Northeast Africa 045 (NEA 045) is an ordinary chondrite found in Libya in 2023. This meteorite was discovered as a significant find with a total mass of approximately 52.53 kilograms. While it was not a witnessed fall, its recovery in the desert regions of Libya adds it to the list of notable finds from the Northeast Africa region.

Classified as an LL6 chondrite, NEA 045 features an interior that reveals clasts and rare remnant chondrules, showing the extensive thermal metamorphism of its parent body. Specimens often show grey and bluish tones within the matrix, along with occasional large chondrules, some of which are barred with iron. Due to its time in the desert environment, specimens may exhibit abnormal weathering patterns.
