Bir Ounane 001 Meteorite For Sale
Bir Ounane 001 was found in 2022 in Mali, approximately 118 kilometers southeast of Taoudenni. Several identical stones were recovered by Sahrawi meteorite hunters. The stones totaled 80 kilograms.
Bir Ounane 001 meteorites are irregularly-shaped and dark brown in color. Patches of fusion crust have been preserved by the hot desert climate. The interior of Bir Ounane 001 meteorites is a fine mix of dark gray and orange grains. Bir Ounane 001 is moderately weathered, and some patches of oxidation are present.
