On July 18th 2011, a bright fireball was observed near Tata, Morocco around 2 in the morning by several people. There were also two sonic booms reported. Then in October just a few months later, nomads started finding glossy black fusion crusted stones. Upon analysis and classification they were determined to originate from Mars.
With the recent landing of the Curiosity Rover on Mars we are curious to see if Curiosity will find meteorites on Mars like the other rovers!
