This new lunar meteorite found in Southern Morocco in July of 2007 was studied by Dr. Anthony Irving at University of Washington. During it's examination it was discovered that this non-paired Lunar meteorite contains iron in the gabbro clasts of the stone which suggest that the iron is native to the moon and not from the impactor. The discovery of native iron from the moon in this meteorite makes it the deepest known moon meteorite ejected. This most likely means the sample came from an area closer to the Moon's core.

This specimen is displayed in a 2 x 3.5 inch laminated display card
